I do wish the controller had fahrenheit instead of Celsius and was a bit easier to program but it's extremely quiet I forget it's in sometimes ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Budget Mini Split Gets It Done *by on Reviewed in the United States 13 February 2025* Installed this mini split in my insulated garage in Colorado. Product is mainly to be used to keep my dogs warm and my garage usable in the coldest/hottest months out of the year. Very much a DIY project if you're somewhat handy and know your way around electricity, takes a day/long afternoon, only time I needed to call someone was to vacuum the lines and check them for any leaks. In the instruction manual, it says the mini split will not operate below temps of 9 degrees Fahrenheit; not the case. I fired it up this morning at 2 degrees, windchill of -8, and it ran like a champ. No problems at all, and still kicking out decent enough heat to make the garage bearable. Bought mine on sale during prime days, and for the discounted price, I'd say more than worth the investment. The app doesn't work very well at all, and I don't use it, hence 4/5 stars, but certainly not the end of the world.
