Review: Assembly instructions are missing a step but once it's all installed it's a FANTASTIC lamp! - I read the reviews on this before buying and was prepared for an assembly nightmare, but it was so easy I felt bad for the people who were struggling... until I got to the dimmer switch. They should do a LOT better with this. Here's the fix to save you time. There aren't any instructions for how to attach it to the lamp as shown in the photos, but if you look at it, there's a little stretchy opening on the side of the dimmer switch. Jiggle the opening over the tube just above the place where it plugs in, THEN plug it in, and the dimmer is neatly tucked behind the music but easy to access and not dangling like the instructions would indicate. Also, it doesn't say this but the light bar tilts back towards the music. Once it's installed, it's a GREAT lamp: solid, sleek, love the dimmer feature and how bright/low it can go, stays in place once I screwed the plate down tight, and all that is why I gave it 5 stars.
Review: Quality Lamp - This is a beautiful, high-quality lamp that I am proud to put on my new piano! It took a little time to read the instructions and warnings, as well as unpack the carefully packaged lamp. I installed it on my piano and was able to get it adjusted exactly as I wanted. It is streamlined and sturdy. Really lights up the area: a full 3 pages across and the whole keyboard.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: adapter failed. where can i purchase another?**
A: This is a nicely designed and built, though expensive, lamp. Its power requirements are 24 volts at 2 amperes. Suck an adapter can very easily be bought or built. You shouldn't have to "throw away the baby with the bath water" Try one of these:https://www.jameco.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/StoreCatalogDrillDownView?langId=-1&storeId=10001&catalogId=10001&freeText=24V&refine=1&history=9lwv79sl%7CfreeText~ac%2Badapter%5Esearch_type~jamecoall%5EprodPage~15%5Epage~SEARCH%252BNAV

**Q: Will this light clip on a metal music stand, like Mighty Bright. In the picture it looks like only for a grand piano.**
A: It will work with a metal music stand only if you put In something like a drink coaster in the clamp portion so what it is clamping is more like a grand piano music rack thickness

**Q: What is the distance between the top of the mounting clip and the light bulb?**
A: 2 1/2 inches. The height is fine for most music, however for some of the higher sheet music the bulb interferes when changes pages.

**Q: Is this product returnable?**
A: Typically, all items purchased through Amazon are returnable, unless indicated otherwise by the seller.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This light fixture is awesome.
*by M***N on May 9, 2025*

I do not have a grand piano. I cannot read sheet music. I do have a custom-built cabinet for my record collection and I required a light fixture for the top shelf that looked cool and articulated enough that I could see what I was looking for at night even when really drunk. You know, gotta find THAT ONE Cramps LP. I built the record cabinet out of 3/4in Birch plywood and as luck would have it the Cocoweb 19in light mounting fixture was already perfectly set up for this. Slip fit over the back, locked down with two thumb screws and done. Also has an optional dimmer control. Totally diggin' it so far. If you are looking for a stylish light fixture for an unorthodox application besides piano music boards this is a solid choice.
