Doesn't take much more time that slapping it on used to do either. And I use the exact same amount of foundation. I was expecting it to be bigger (because HELLO it's not cheap as far as tiny sponges go) but when I used it I realized if it was bigger it wouldn't work as well. It's just the right size.
