Consider sealing the edges with”paint on” “flex seal”. **Q: Will it work on a leaky pipe in the bathroom?** A: Hi there, While this tape would work for your situation, for a leaky pipe in the bathroom I would recommend our Powersteel Duct Tape. That tape is some of the strongest tape you'll ever lay your hands on and will clearly up any leaky pipe you have. Thank you Eric Gaffer Power **Q: Will this stick to rubber?** A: Hi there, Thank you for your question. Yes this type of adhesive is meant to stick to most rubber material. We also guarantee all our products so if you were not satisfied we'd offer you a full refund. Thank you, Eric Gaffer Power **Q: could i use this to protect the joists under my decking?** A: I used the tape to hold down roof tile until I could replace my roof. I would not think tape would be strong enough to protect deck joists unless you want to keep mold or insects from harming the joists. If you are using the tape for support to with stand a large crowd or heavy loads. I would replace the joists for safety reasons. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Super Sticky to patch up cracks and splits *by on Reviewed in the United States September 3, 2021* I wanted something to patch my blow up Kayak, the next time it gets a hole. This tape is thick and super durable and super sticky. My first repair was to an outdoor plastic storage box. It had developed a few cracks in the top from weather and abuse. The tape went on nicely, conformed to the curves of the top and it completely sealed the cracks. I know this because there is a slight dip in the top and rain water collects there and the tape does not let it seep through. I see no issues with edges creeping up and the container sits for hours in the sun each day.As for the Kayak, I have not actually done a repair yet as I don't have a current hole, but I know it will work great. I precut some smaller patches from the tape roll so that I can have them ready when deploying my Kayak. Great product. Premium quality. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Patch & Shield Power Tape Black - All Weather Sealing Tape *by on Reviewed in Canada March 16, 2026* Excellent tape. Used to cover a door seal in the dishwasher. Most other products did not last probably due to the hot water and also the dishwash tablets. This tape, however, has lasted. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Efficace *by on Reviewed in Canada July 1, 2026* Tien fort et ne décolle pas. Installer près du moteur à jacuzzi qui est localisé sous le jacuzzi.
