Installation was straightforward if you’ve replaced a ceiling light before. The design is simple and clean, so it blends well with most rooms. You basically need a second set of hands or you’re juggling it mid-air. The other downside is in the app. Surprisingly, this doesn’t fully integrate with all Govee products. For example, I can’t group it with my Govee bulbs under one control, which feels like an easy win they missed. It’s not a dealbreaker, but it’s definitely a gap. Overall though, it’s still a strong product. Govee just makes stuff that’s easy to use, looks great, and works reliably. My condo looks better because of it, and the control through the app is simple and smooth. Honestly, it’s getting harder to justify going with any other lighting brand at this point.
