The lid after just two weeks or simple use has begun to crack heavily. It makes me feel quite unsafe to continue to use. I first heard the lid cracking and breaking before I even saw it. If the lid is this susceptible to damage from light use, I wonder if I should be concerned about the vacuum pump as well. As stated, I only used this pump for two weeks with the correct conditions, oil, etc.. I only used it in one location within constant conditions and weather. I messaged the seller in hopes of a refund or maybe a replacement as this is an major health and safety hazard. I had high hopes seeing as how many people recommended this product not only personally, but online as well. In the end, it's very disappointing as I was extremely excited about this product and to use it.
