The piece, by design has very few attachment points and no cross bracing, so it is a little challenging when trying to get it and keep it square. Also, the predrilled holes are not always square with the end cut of the piece, twisting the connectors a bit. As a result, some pieces sit proud of the side walls, some recessed.
