The Z-Trail EV sport sandal fits true to size. Adventure everywhere with the Xero Shoes Z-Trail EV sandal. This sandal weighs 70% less than most sport sandals, and is flexible enough to let your feet bend and move naturally. Features triple-layer FeelLite sole that protects your feet from the unpleasant surfaces and absorbs some of the impact. Quick-drying webbing upper keeps your feet in place and allow adjustments for a custom fit. Built in heel cup to keep your feet in place and keep out debris. Zero-drop anatomically correct sole. Rust-proof nylon hardware. Upper made with Unifi recycled plastic bottle yarn and fabric. Man-made footbed and outsole.

I went out for a couple of miles on blacktop and was amazed that my feet didn't miss the support and cushion of my regular shoes. I was skeptical that a minimalist sandal would actually feel good on my foot...it was love at first step! These things fit great and are mega comfortable. I went out for a couple of miles on blacktop and was amazed that my feet didn't miss the support and cushion of my regular shoes. I purchased these as camp shoes for an upcoming 400-mile section hike but now see myself actually hiking in these on my less challenging days. I'll use a zero drop running shoe when the trail gets dicey. I'm fortunate to live in a coastal community as these are now my footwear of choice.
