Her feet measure 9.5 inches, heel to toe, so I ordered a 7. She has a little room to grow. If I had purchased a a half size up, if offered, she would have had to wear thick socks, and an 8 would have been much too big. It's only 2 weeks into the school year, but they look like they won't show scuffs,unlike other brands we have had in the past.
