Review: Beautiful + highly functional jacket! - I bought this raincoat in orange, and the color is absolutely beautiful and vibrant—it looks exactly as pictured. I recently put it to the test on vacation in Oslo, Norway in mid-September. I walked over 5 miles for about 4 hours through a mix of light and medium rain while museum-hopping and window shopping. Overall, the performance was fantastic: * Waterproofing & Windproofing: The water beads right up on the fabric. The rest of my body stayed completely dry—though after 4 full hours in the rain, the inside of the pockets did start to feel a bit damp. It completely kept out the wind, which was perfect in a chilly mid-50s to low-60s°F (around 12° to 17°C). * Comfort & Warmth: The jacket is lined, very soft, and incredibly cozy. The material is breathable, so I never felt overheated while walking, but it kept me perfectly warm in the crisp air. * Fit & Sizing: I sized up to an XL so I could wear it over bulky winter clothes. However, it still fits great without thick sweaters because it has a built-in drawstring to cinch the waist for a more tailored look. * Features: It features a spacious hood and roomy pockets. The khaki color online looks like a light brown, but I found it to be slightly darker in person than the listing photos. The light beige one was very light. I am 5’ 6” and 148 lbs. I have broader shoulders and long arms. I first ordered the medium and it fit but was a little snug around my shoulders and I wouldn’t be able to layer too much under it. So I got the larger and I like the slightly oversized look and I can layer now. I ended up returning the light beige because I found it didn’t contrast my white shirt enough. The khaki color was a nicer contrast, and more versatile; I could use it for both spring and fall which I like. And I have young kids, so the khaki is more forgiving with stains. It’s light weight, but not too thin. I tried other brands with something similar and the other brands material was much thinner and felt cheaper. This coat feels good quality and more expensive than it was. I like the cinched in waist detail too. Length was good on me and looks kind of like a trench coat so it goes with a lot of outfits. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ LOVE this rain jacket

I absolutely love this long hooded rain jacket! I ordered it in both BLACK and DARK KHAKI , and both colors are BEAUTIFUL and look much more expensive than they are. For reference, I’m 5’2”, 105 lbs, and the size Small fits perfectly. It has a relaxed fit with enough room to comfortably wear a sweater or sweatshirt underneath without feeling bulky. One of my favorite features is the cinched waist, which creates a very flattering silhouette instead of looking boxy like many rain jackets. The lining gives it a polished, high-end appearance, and the overall design is stylish enough to wear almost anywhere. The pockets are roomy and practical I can easily carry my cell phone, golf balls, and other small essentials. I use this jacket for walking my dog, golfing, and everyday errands, and it’s been perfect for all of them.
