If your dog is refusing to eat, bored with plain kibble, or just needs a special treat every now and then, FLAVORS is a healthy, quick, and cost-effective option. Simply sprinkle a serving onto your dog’s food, mix with water to create a gravy or stir a small about into water to encourage hydration. You can also mix FLAVORS into homemade treats or freeze the broth as ice cubes for a refreshing snack. Pick your dog’s favorite flavor: white cheddar, ocean fish, red meat, chicken, or peanut butter. With this many choices you can rotate the flavor of your dogs food every meal. The main ingredient for each bottle is the flavor listed in the name: if you choose red meat, for example, then the primary ingredient in that bottle is just that: red meat! Once opened, the product should be used within 1 year. **Q: Do they have the one for cats? Thanks.** A: Thank you for the question. We do have the Ocean Fish FLAVORS specifically labeled for cats. To find the product please search Amazon for this product code 'B01N1Z3OJK'. Also, the Red Meat, Chicken and Ocean Fish FLAVORS are 100% safe for cats, and we actually have a large number of customers who already purchase them for cats. **Q: How is this in terms of expiration date? Good for week? Month?** A: Thank you for the question. If FLAVORS is unopened, it will always have an expiration date that is at least 9 months away from the date of purchase. Once opened, the FLAVORS powder does not need to be refrigerated, but it is best to use it within 3 months. If stored in a refrigerator, FLAVORS will remain fresh for up to 6 months. **Q: Could this be applied to a dog's chew toy?** A: Thank you for the question. This depends on the toy, but we know two ways we would recommend using FLAVORS in combination with a chewy toy. First, you can make a broth by adding FLAVORS to water and then freezing that mixture in the toy (commonly done with an original KONG toy). The second way you could apply FLAVORS to certain chew toys would be to add a small amount of water to make a paste (similar to the consistency of toothpaste) and then stuff the toy with the mixture. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Saved My Dog *by on Reviewed in the United States 28 May 2021* Sounds pretty dramatic, right? My dog is old and has kidney disease. Kd screws with taste buds, and they become picky eaters. Not eating leads to weight loss and dehydration, which just make Kd progress faster. Vets argue on whether it's the *amount* of protein or the *quality* of protein in their diet that matters, so some will push for the prescription diets that cost as much as rent, and some say it sort of doesn't matter because they become so picky that they usually won't eat those special diets anyway. (I imagine it's like me attempting to live off of diet meals forever, and...no.)It took 3 months to find the right foods and ratio of these foods and how to prepare them to find what my dog will now eat fairly consistently without getting an upset stomach and still provide complete nutrition. I can mess with ratios a little bit, but it's mainly cannedfoodflavor1/cannedfoodflavor2/plaingroundturkey, sprinkle with this stuff, add a bit of water, microwave 13 seconds, smush into a gross paste. He eats, on average, 4x/day this way. Before I figured out his secret recipe, he would skip meals, sometimes for 2 days. Thought I was going to lose him. I did lose his brother in this process (his brother had Kd and heart failure). At his last check up, the vet said his kidney markers haven't really moved. And he even gained some weight. Not sure how long I have him for, but this stuff helps him keep eating (I also sneak crushed meds in there, and he's impossible to pill). I like that this stuff is really only bone broth, not a bunch of chemical crap, and cheap compared to the bone broth purchasable for human consumption.I feel torn rating the flavor here, as clearly my dog loves it but it smells abhorrent to me, as it's always mixed with other mush. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Dog liked it *by on Reviewed in Canada 28 August 2023* I can't comment on the taste but my dog seemed to be ok with it. There are cheaper toppers but I used this one as it seemed to be good according to reviews. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ My picky eater finally loves meal time! *by on Reviewed in the United States 26 October 2025* These food toppers are a total hit in my house! My dog is usually super picky with her kibble, but once I started sprinkling a little of this on top, she cleans her bowl every time. The different flavors keep things interesting, and I love that they’re made with natural, grain-free ingredients. It’s so easy to use — just shake a bit over her food, and she instantly gets excited. The bottles are a great size, the packaging is cute, and it’s nice to have all four flavors to switch between. If you’ve got a dog who turns their nose up at regular food, this is definitely worth trying. It makes mealtime fun again and gives me peace of mind knowing she’s actually eating! 🐶🍗✨ ## Frequently Bought Together - BEAUMONT BASICS Flavors Food Topper and Gravy for Dogs - Chicken Recipe with Bone Broth, 3.1 oz. - Natural, Grain Free - Perfect Kibble Seasoning Treat Mix for Picky Dog or Puppy - Caledon Farms Beef Sprinkles Dog Food Topper - 120g (1 Pack) - Crumps' Naturals Beef Liver Sprinkles Brown, 4.2 Ounce (Pack of 1) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.hr/products/741542201-flavors-dog-food-topper-chicken-recipe-non-gmo-3-1](https://www.desertcart.hr/products/741542201-flavors-dog-food-topper-chicken-recipe-non-gmo-3-1) --- *Product available on Desertcart Croatia* *Store origin: HR* *Last updated: 2026-11-03*
