For months I have been looking for a very dark roast bean to replace the Rwandan Dark Roast from Costco that is no longer available. I have tried a half dozen that all claimed to be "dark roast" but no matter how I varied the beans none came out better than average. The Mayorga Dark hits all the right buttons. I drink my coffee black and very strong and I can brew just what I like by simply adding a few more beans....but it does not get bitter....just strong.
