The compression sock caused pain and razor type marks on my heal cord. As well as rolling. I could barely wear them for an hour. TUBIGRIP was the answer to this issue. I can wear them all day in my shoes, with little to no discomfort. Make sure there are no wrinkles when wearing with shoes, and you won't have a problem. They do become a bit bulking if you fold the length to get more compression.
