Review: Oily/combo with breakouts? Definitely try this - Really noticed a difference in my skin and oil control using this. Been using for about 3 years now and with twice a day use works well on my skin. I notice alot more build up of oil and more breakouts if not used at least one a day. Helps with blackheads also. Face does feel bit dry after but after moisturising all fine. Bottle will last me about 6 months - pump is great as you don't over use as much as if in tube bottle etc. Firm fav and not changing.

**Q: Whats the difference between this cleanser and the cerave sa smoothing face and body cleanser? both have salicylic acid in it right?**
A: Hi Dan, the Blemish Control cleanser contains Salicylic Acid + Niacinamide to help reduce appearance of spots and soothe the skin. The SA Smoothing Cleanser contains just Salicylic Acid, and is designed to help gently exfoliate rough and bumpy skin. We hope this helps.

A: Yes, if you can use it on your face I will assume you can use it anywhere that has acne

Really noticed a difference in my skin and oil control using this. Been using for about 3 years now and with twice a day use works well on my skin. I notice alot more build up of oil and more breakouts if not used at least one a day. Helps with blackheads also. Face does feel bit dry after but after moisturising all fine. I've been using this CeraVe Blemish Control Cleanser for several weeks and I'm very impressed with the results. The 2% salicylic acid helps keep pores clear and reduces breakouts, while the niacinamide helps calm the skin and improve overall appearance. One of the biggest advantages is that it's fragrance-free, which makes it ideal for anyone sensitive to heavily scented skincare products. Despite being an exfoliating cleanser, it doesn't leave my skin feeling stripped or uncomfortable after washing. The pump functionality is excellent.
