Plenty of the patches are patterned and contain other colors, making them easy to pair with t shirts. I haven't burn tested the fabric, but it feels cotton-like rather than synthetic.My waist is around 36" and flabby. They are snug, not uncomfortably so, and make a muffin top but I don't care. Two skirts' length are ok as is, at my ankles. One is long enough that I'll need to roll up or shorten, and I'm 5'10".Only detail that gives me pause - and it may not be a universal issue - is the threads overcast on between the patches. It's pretty, but I have a pack of enthusiastic dogs that I think will end up snagging these. Otoh, they'll look even funkier and more boho if that happens.Maybe I should train my dogs. The waist does not stretch enought and I wish I could have picked out my own skirts instead of random skirts with boring colors I don't much care for. The skirts came with stitching problems and a lot of threading that can make the skirt fall apart. I doubt I'll get much wear out of them but I'm not bothering to return them.
