## Description

The Bonsai Supply Slow Release Bonsai Fertilizer 18-4-10 is a high quality Bonsai fertilizer that delivers the perfect amount of much needed nutrients to your Bonsai for fast, healthy and strong growth. What is NPK? Nitrogen (N) – Nitrogen is responsible for leave, branch and trunk growth. Phosphorus (P) – Phosphorus is responsible for root, flower and fruit growth. Potassium (K) – Potassium is a nutrient that helps the overall functions and health of the plant. Easy Seal Container. Our containers are designed for easy use, open and close and storage. 1.8 Lbs Jars How to apply? Measure the pots length and use 1 teaspoon for every 4 inches of bonsai pot in length. An 8" Bonsai pot would receive 2 teaspoons. Scatter the fertilizer evenly on top of the soil surface and water immediately. Apply once a month from April - October. How often to apply? At The Bonsai Supply, we use this fertilizer every month from March until about November

Review: Works great, but use it in small doses!! - The fertilizer arrived well-packaged and the jar is quite burly. I started using this fertilizer on my bonsais right away, but wanted to be careful to start off since this was my first purchase so only used half the recommended amount (says "1 tsp per 4 inches pot length" on the jar). Turns out even half of the recommended amount was too strong for my plants and it didn't take long for them to all start burning/dying rather severely. After some 'emergency' action I got them all to come back to life, and now I'm happy to report that they're growing like mad! Part of that is attributed to the growing season of course, but I have to give some major credit to the fertilizer as well. While I urge you to ignore the instructions on the jar and only use a pinch or two of fertilizer rather than a teaspoon, I do recommend the product! Seriously a good value purchase that I think will last me quite a while. JUST BE CAREFUL.
