Slight pilling present. Once washed & dried a few times thread design shrinks considerably and does require ironing if you plan to display or use a focal point on bed. If you are going to hide it under a comforter then you are all set. An all weather blanket that gets softer each wash and doesn't get those pills on the surface. Soft kakai color with ivory accent lines hinting of deep rich ethnic decor with animal prints and palm fronds around it are brought to mind when you see it. Muslins are typically expensive especially if you want quality. This has that quality without the price tag.
