They are all plastic (frame and plexi window). They are nice and light weight but don't feel cheap. I have real glass ones from dollarama that feel super cheap compared to these and have broke really easy. I prefer these because we have pets and if something falls they don't shatter. The windows are clear and you'd really never know it wasn't glass by looking at it. The mattes are nice. I like the value for the price. Would buy again (I actually already have in other sizes). Frame is not glossy black, its matte. Arrived quickly and were packaged well.
