Hence, using AC may not give sufficient current and thus magnetic strength for relay activation; I'd go with an AC relay to be certain, or rectify your AC with a full wave bridge and use your dc relay. However all this is speculation and without measurements I am not sure at all. **Q: Okay these last questions have all not been answered, what we all want to know is what is the amperage of the dc coil? is it 25ma or 100ma or what?** A: Specs say 1.5 Wdc for the coil (and 2.5Wac for the 110 & 220 Vac coils) **Q: How many mamp from the coil side and is it a ul listed ?** A: Sorry, I do not know the coil current when hooked up to 110 VAC, however, it does NOT get even slightly warm.
