We left them on for a few days in the first instance, so they got used to them, now we only put them on if we’re going out for a bit and it’s a nice day. Because they have access to the garden through the dog flap I don’t want them to disturb neighbours by barking when we’re not there, and this does the job very effectively. It’s also important to note that they don’t dislike the collars at all.
