In just a couple of minutes, it is ready to use again. It blends food beautifully .. great smoothies, soups, and dips..etc. I did buy the Stainless Steel container to use with it as I prefer using SS. I love it also. It is important to make sure if you buy the SS container that you get the one compatible for the Ascent V. This is one powerful and easy to use appliance. Don't balk at the price. This machine has already paid for itself. And you can choose a payment plan to pay it off without interest through desertcart. The Ascent V Vitamix is an investment in my health. I LOVE My Vitamix!!! I bought a Vitamix back in the 70s; it lasted for 40 plus years; I used it daily. I just recently upgraded to the Ascent V. I couldn't be more pleased. The versatile programs for preparing a variety of tasty concoctions are simple to do. The directions and symbols are uncomplicated. It is so easy to clean! In just a couple of minutes, it is ready to use again. It blends food beautifully .. great smoothies, soups, and dips..etc. I did buy the Stainless Steel container to use with it as I prefer using SS. I love it also. It is important to make sure if you buy the SS container that you get the one compatible for the Ascent V. This is one powerful and easy to use appliance. Don't balk at the price. This machine has already paid for itself. And you can choose a payment plan to pay it off without interest through Amazon. The Ascent V Vitamix is an investment in my health. And I Am Worth It!!!

Smoothies, soups, ice cream, I’ve done it all with this and it is still running like the first day! Its powers through ice and raw carrots alike. Yes! It can be about as loud as a coffee grinder!
