Feathers are the most aggressive blade I've used in my ebo jager. I do not like an aggressive shave. My technique results in too much bloodletting. Derbys were much less so. They also held their original edge longer, since they weren't as sharp to begin with. But the shave wasnt as close. Treets are in the middle. Give them a 3. Sharp, but no nicks at all. But you need 3 passes to get close. I get about 4 shaves before they can't get the BBS shave I crave. I could get 5 shaves if im not picky. I have a tough beard. So Treet is superior to Derby for me. But if you like Feather, and want an agressive shave, you will not like Treet. **Q: What are the best straight razors** A: The blades you are looking at are for Safety Razors which is the grandfather to the cartridge razors.
