The pattern itself has some wonkiness to it -- the way the collar is set up is very strange. I'm an advanced sewer and I had difficulty with it. Also, the way they had you sew the sleeves was very weird (I did it an easier way just because I knew how to do it.) If I had the opportunity to use a different pattern I would. This was not a good pattern. **Q: How many yards of fabric in a XL men’s shirt** A: I make my husbands a little longer and I usually get 4 yards. **Q: If I have one way fabric graphics do I cut yoke and collar in the same direction of graphic or use the cutting layout in pattern 58” 60”** A: Cutting the yoke and collar in the same direction of the graphic is ideal. To stabilize the yoke and collar, interfacing will work. **Q: What chest sizes should i use, according to the envelope the xl is 46 - 48 but on the pattern it says the xl is 56 inches. which is correct?** A: If the man’s chest measurement is between 46-48 use the XL pattern. The finished garment for XL measures 56 giving room in the garment.
