The space available and design in my opinion would work well as a diaper bag. It has room for diapers in the large main compartment, (if you remove the built in firearm holster) and a baby bottle or two may fit in there as well. The side compartments would easily hold baby wipes and baby binkies/pacifiers. I believe that it would work well. **Q: Would I be able to run a belt anywhere through this pack?** A: If your belt is about 1 inch.....it has an additional waist strap that you use to hook around your waist.....those hook extensions could hold a thin belt...I really enjoy mine...extremely well made **Q: Is this bag big enough for an iPad?** A: yes ,it should be fine for 10.9 inch plus iPAD screen **Q: "Main Compartment Measurement" With total width dimension of 9.8 less 3.8 for side pouches then the middle body is only 6" wide?** A: I just measured it.
