Featuring tamper-resistant materials and ultra-strong 3M adhesive, it offers quick, tool-free installation and adjustable window opening control. Certified to rigorous safety standards, it provides parents with durable, reliable protection and peace of mind. ## Description Fresh air all year round, without the worry. The BABYGO Window Restrictor limits how far an outward-opening casement window can open, helping to reduce the risk of falls for babies, toddlers, young children and curious pets. The arm holds the window at a fixed 7 cm gap, under the 100 mm opening generally used as the child-safety guide in the UK. It holds in both directions, so on a windy day the window cannot be blown wide open or slammed shut, and the house stays ventilated in summer and winter alike. Strength: genuine 3M VHB adhesive, withstands up to 30 kg of force, weather proof, with a tamper-resistant design. Certified to EN 16948:2017 and EN 71-3. Fitting: no drilling and no tools. Clean and dry the frame first (uPVC and painted frames often carry cleaning residue that stops adhesive bonding), press firmly and allow 24 hours to cure. It removes without lasting damage, so it suits rented homes. Compatibility: uPVC, wood, metal and aluminium casement windows with a flat surface on both the frame and the opening section, fitted vertically or horizontally; the adhesive also bonds to glass. Base 8.5 x 3.5 cm, track 20 cm x 1.5 cm. Not for sliding or sash windows. Please measure before you buy. Simple adult release: an adult can release it quickly to open the window fully. Windows are part of an escape route, so make sure everyone in the household knows how, particularly in a flat or an upstairs bedroom. Sold as a single restrictor: fit one to each opening window you want to restrict. In the box: 1 x BABYGO Window Restrictor. Gold winner, Made for Mums Awards 2024. ## Features - LIMITS THE OPENING TO A CHILD-SAFE GAP: The restrictor arm holds an outward-opening casement window at a fixed 7 cm gap, well under the 100 mm figure used for child safety in the UK. You keep fresh air and ventilation, while a toddler, child or cat cannot push the window any wider or climb through. The tamper-resistant design keeps curious little ones from releasing it. - WIND PROOF, ALL YEAR ROUND: No more windows slamming on a windy day. The arm holds the window at 7 cm in both directions, so a strong gust cannot blow it wide open or bang it shut, and your home stays ventilated in every season. Weather proof and fixed with genuine 3M VHB high-bond adhesive tape, it withstands up to 30 kg of force. - FITS UPVC, WOOD, METAL AND ALUMINIUM: Suits casement windows that open outwards, fitted vertically or horizontally, and the adhesive also bonds to glass. It needs a flat surface on both the frame and the opening sash: the base is 8.5 x 3.5 cm and the track is 20 cm long and 1.5 cm deep. Not suitable for sliding or sash windows, or for deeply bevelled or heavily textured frames. - NO DRILLING, NO TOOLS, NO DAMAGE: Clean and dry the frame, peel the backing and press it in place, then leave it 24 hours for the adhesive to cure before use. It removes without lasting damage to the frame, which makes it ideal for renters, flats and upstairs bedrooms where drilling into the frame is not an option. - SIMPLE ADULT RELEASE: A quick release lets an adult open the window fully in an emergency, and it is operated from inside the room. Certified to EN 16948:2017 and EN 71-3. In the box: 1 window restrictor with the 3M VHB adhesive fitted. Gold winner, Made for Mums Awards 2024. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0DK1TWHNK | | Additional product features | Adult Release, Fixed 7 cm Opening, No Drilling, Tamper Resistant, Wind Proof | | Batteries required | No | | Customer Reviews | 4.4 4.4 out of 5 stars (420) | | Date First Available | 12 December 2024 | | Item Weight | 140 g | | Material Composition | Plastic | | Material Type | Plastic | | Number of items | 1 | | Package Dimensions | 21.7 x 8.4 x 2.8 cm; 140 g | | Style | Window Locks | ## Images ![Window Restrictor Child Safety Lock, UPVC, No Drilling - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/718a6fWALOL.jpg) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.hr/products/747256189-window-restrictor-child-safety-lock-upvc-no-drilling](https://www.desertcart.hr/products/747256189-window-restrictor-child-safety-lock-upvc-no-drilling) --- *Product available on Desertcart Croatia* *Store origin: HR* *Last updated: 2026-10-02*
