Review: Heavy-duty, incredibly sturdy, and perfect for hanging an outdoor fan! - I am extremely impressed with the build quality and strength of these brackets. I used them to hang a heavy outdoor fan on my patio, and they are holding up absolutely perfectly. The solid stainless steel construction is genuinely heavy-duty and doesn't bend or flex at all under weight. Since it's installed outside, the corrosion-resistant stainless steel is a huge plus for dealing with the elements. The included S-hooks are a fantastic, versatile bonus that made rigging things up even easier. If you need a reliable, rock-solid right-angle brace for a heavy project, these are worth every penny. Highly recommend!
Review: removeable support = ease of use - Great for DIY shelving! With the unique removable diagonal support, it's much easier to work with. With other brackets, trying to drill screws in straight can be a pain, the support gets in the way. I'm making wall shelves using 8' 2x12 lumber. With two of these drilled into studs, I was able to sit my full 185 lbs on it with no issue. And the wood itself weighs 53 lbs so you're looking at close to 240 lbs, no problems. I intend to use this shelf for vinyl records which gets heavy, 100 records weighs about 50 lbs if I remember correctly. I intended to use 4 of these on four studs per shelf, but now I'm thinking 2 might just be sufficient as it seems rock solid. But I may do 4 anyway, as that would be completely impervious. Note: I strongly recommend using studs, not trying to hang shelves in just drywall, if there's going to be any weight at all. Also, I didn't use the included screws. I predrilled holes into the center of each stud using a drill (having carefully located the studs with a stud finder, and triple checked the marks), then drilled in self-tapping 2 1/2" #9 star drive screws I purchased separately from a hardware store. Please don't attempt to use Phillips head screws for a similar wood working project - they will want to strip, and you'll be pulling your hair out. I've learned doing my DIY projects that it's worth getting star drive/torx screws. Frankly, Phillips head screws should no longer exist. It's an inferior design, at least for woodworking, and very prone to stripping. Sure, if you pre-drill, are strong enough to keep the screw bit pressed tightly to the screw at all times, and know what you're doing, Phillips will work. But star drive and the like are just fundamentally superior for any project requiring larger/longer screws, and you truly get better results with much less struggle because the bit will tend to stay locked to the screw and not strip the crew, due to the design. Also, to me, these brackets look pretty good. I'll be ordering more to complete my other shelves

**Q: Are the gussets already welded to the brackets?**
A: The gussets of the 8", 10", 12" and 14" brackets are not welded. And the gussets for the 16, 18, and 20 inches brackets are welded.

**Q: Can these be used without the gusset?**
A: The gusset serves as the support fixture of the bracket, forming a stable triangle. We do not recommend using it without gussets.

**Q: Do you offer the rod with S Hooks shown in the images?**
A: The rod with S Hooks shown in the images is not included. Only the 10" L bracket comes with 2pcs S hooks.

**Q: Why are the support bar of some bracket sizes not welded?**
A: The support bar not fixed is designed for easier installing the brackets and more flexible. For strengthening the bracket loading capacity, it should be fixed on the bracket before the shelving project is complete.

I am extremely impressed with the build quality and strength of these brackets. I used them to hang a heavy outdoor fan on my patio, and they are holding up absolutely perfectly. Solid design and fabrication. These brackets do not look cheap and, with the brace, they are stiff and sturdy. The finish was just what I was looking for and resembles an attractive lightly brushed nickel.
