Great for when you are in public stalls and can't dump it out. The leaking however is minimal and can be ameliorated by using the  Amazon Brand Panty Liners . However I have had other cups that had an excellent seal with no leaking. I'm not sure about the bell shape of the cup on top or perhaps it can't make a full seal with the way the stem is set up. As a tip, look for the two bumps on the stem with your fingers on where to press to expel the excess blood. That saved me a great deal of time once I found out. ### ⭐ Design Flaw *by L***N on Reviewed in the United States on December 16, 2019* This cup never caught the blood. Many sanitary napkins were used while the cup was inserted and when removed very little to no blood was in the cup. Either the design at the top of the cup was the issue or the valve was leaking. All instructions were followed for insertion and removal.
