They stayed so clean, I’ve used them multiple times with just a casual dumping of small crumbs. They are big enough to fit a good sized sandwich (I make my son a peanut butter sandwich on thick cut bread and it fit nicely), but are also flexible enough to roll up and save room if you have a small snack to pack.
