Other versions of these cameras have side sensors that can trip the camera when a subject is coming in to view from the side - so you get a more complete video of whatever is crossing the field of view. Without those side sensors, you sometimes miss the first second or two of a good shot. One thing I'm not a fan of is the wifi. There are certain situations where the wifi can be useful - mainly where you have to put the camera somewhere (high up?) where you can't access it easily. But for me, I'm usually mounting them at 3-5 feet off the ground so accessibility is not a problem. The reason I'm not a fan of the wifi is because.....it's......so......slow.....to....connect. I'd say it's about a 30-45 second process when I'm standing 30 feet from the camera. But if I'm 30 feet from the camera, I can just walk up to it, open it up, and start looking at the videos in 5 seconds - so it seems silly to just stand around waiting for my phone to connect when I could just look at the videos directly on the camera. Ok, sure, there are probably more scenarios where the wifi could work for you and if that's the case, then definitely consider this camera! It's a good camera with great quality. But for me, the wifi just isn't a feature I find worth paying extra for. Other than that, the only improvement I would make is the use of the increasingly popular rechargeable battery packs.
