Stitches are perfect. The output is as claimed; I've tested with a diagnostic meter. I left it outside in the sun for a few hours and got a decent charge for my phone. Amazing built quality: the plastic is rigid, USB Ports are framed well and overall I can only praise its quality.2. Charging the power bank via USB is okay, not super fast but I am okay with it.3. The only issue is that the solar energy transfer is very slow and the efficiency is limited by sun intensity. I guess this is less the problem of the product itself, but more on the solar technology development so far.It has to be placed under the direct sun for looooooog time. I’m not talking about hours, but at least a fews days to get it charged over 60% and up.With that said, charger by itself serves as an emergency backup, not a regular charging method, especially for solar charger. You don't need to fully charge the charger to charge your device.I left it right next to the window. Sometimes there is direct sun, and sometimes not. It charges to about 25% (indicated by one light out of four on the charger) for one day, and could not pass that even after 3 days. With this much on the charger, it could charge my iphone to about 45%.It weighs 540g (19 oz, see the picture). This is not light, about twice as heavy as my phone. For backpacking or climbing, you may want to consider its weight. If it is just a short one-day trip, a small and light regular charger is good enough. This solar one could be over killing. They do have a smaller version (24000mAh, 3 solar panel instead of four) and presumably lighter. Have I known this, I will buy the lighter version.For camping or other situation where weight is not a consideration, this will be a good choice as a emergency charging method.Another small point is the labeling. On the back of the charger, it says 25000mAh/92.5Wh and both input/output 5V. Using the high school physics and doing the math, the voltage should be 92.5Wh / 25000mAh * 1000 = 3.7V, not 5V. I have another regular charger which labeled as 3.7V. So I think what it indicates is that the actual voltage of the solar charger is 3.7V, but it can accommodate device labeled as 5V. ### ⭐ Solar devices MUST be able to take a little rain. This fails on that score sadly. *by M***I on December 15, 2018* I got this in anticipation of Hurricane Michael. It seemed like a great idea: a battery pack that you leave outside to charge from solar energy, then bring in to charge your phone or the like. Now, it doesn't really collect all that much energy -- and I say that as someone living on the Florida panhandle, and if you can't get enough light to charge your solar doodad in Florida, then perhaps it's time to return to the drawing board -- but I was fine with that, as I anticipated a couple of weeks without power, and if all I got charged was my phone and my kindle, I'd be okay.But the limited amount of charge in a given day means that you've pretty much got to leave it outside all of the time, and that's where it all goes wrong. A bit of rain fell, and the charger/battery was soon fallen as well. Folks, the basic logic here is, "if it's a solar electric thing of any kind, it MUST survive some rain." This fails on that score, utterly and sadly -- I love the whole idea and physical design.
