My daughter spilled red Gatorade on it (worst possible test 😅), and it wiped off completely without leaving a single stain. Gorgeous and so soft! Looks exactly like the pictures ( forest green with a bit of moss green). It is my new reading chair, and my dog’s! So comfortable and sturdy. I love the color. If you need a different shade of green ( most online are dark green), you can order a cover for these chairs ( they have sage, grass green, cyan, for $24). The chenille material is so comfortable. It feels like velvet with cotton. Very good quality. I also found matching green pillows , for my nearby furniture, and am very pleased with this chair.
