Review: Warms My Wax to Perfection - My mom introduced me to waxing at home, but I wasn't about to pay hundreds to buy the same professional kit she had. I decided on this kit to warm up some wax I bought. I got the DEPILEVE Azulene Cream Rosin Wax 14 oz tin and this warmer heats it up perfectly. I love being able to control the heat, which leaves my waxing brand choices open. My mom's kit doesn't have this feature and is only attuned to that brand of wax. Hers also doesn't have the quick heat cover. Overall, I think this unit is a steal for how happy I am with it. One thing to note is that it is a hard 14oz size. I bought a 14.1 oz jar and it won't fit inside, so there is no wiggle room at all. I do recommend getting some of the warmer collars for this unit. I bought the 50 Pack FantaSea ones (3.75" inside diameter, 6.25" outer diameter). These fit the 14oz jar great, but they are too big to put the cover on like it was originally intended. I usually heat the wax, tear the side of the collar, and wrap it around the tin before starting the application. Keeps this unit spotless. I've had this unit since September 2014. I've used it about five times and each time it has worked great. It is only used by two people currently, so I can't say how it would stand-up to constant commercial use.
