This item was very easy to set up. Simply plug in and it was ready to go. I always start my vegetable, herbs and flowers from seed. This is a perfect way to keep my fresh herbs going all year round. It doesn't take up much room and is very light weight. I haven't used it very long yet, but so far, it seems to be working quite well. I leave it on just a few hours each day.
