But I did not expect it to have as many minor cracks as it did. I'm concerned that some of the teeth will actually come out or the comb will eventually split. The teeth in the finer tooth comb part were not well carved. Was this comb handcarved? Things were not that even and some teeth were closer together, making it hard to get it into my hair. I don't recommend this comb if you want something that works well. However, the price is very cheap, so it isn't that bad. I was a bit underwhelmed at first. Feels rough - not snaggy, just not silky smooth. But I used it, and it felt alright, seemed to do ok in my and my children's hair. I continued rubbing it with beeswax and almond oil (two of my facial products) to see if I could brighten up the texture a bit and help it glide through hair. Well, last week, I noticed a little splinter that was snagging my daughter's hair. It worked well enough to convince me that I do indeed want a wooden comb, just not this one.
