Given my proportions, I'm no stranger to spending big bucks for bras that can rein in the girls. I was once a loyal Chantelle customer, but discovered they'd discontinued my favorite style. I tried their Rive Gauche, but the cup wasn't nearly generous enough--even in their largest size. I happened upon Prima Donna Madison while being fitted a snooty boutique. It looked quite similar to the Chantelle style I was trying to replace. I ordered the Madison from Amazon, and after a few tries found what I thought was the accurate size. I put it on right out of the box. The band excruciatingly tight--enough to leave deep welts in my sides by the end of the day. I was discouraged, thinking I'd blown the bank on something I couldn't wear for more than a few hours. Then I washed the bra in some Forever New and let it air dry. When I put it on again it was magical! The band was snug, but no longer biting into my skin. The girls were lifted and gorgeous. Best of all, they were so well supported that it felt like they weren't even there. I'm now a Prima Donna convert, specifically their Madison and Couture lines.
