Cantilever Steel Toolbox is manufactured in China. **Q: I need a weather proof toolbox would this fit the bill? Looks like there is a seam where the lids meet where water could get in?** A: Not sure I would classify this as 'weather proof'. While it is a well-made, sturdy box, I don't think it would fare well if left to the elements often. Since the lid with respective trays come together to form the lid and has 3 latches, I don't think it would repel rain/snow if continually subjected to either for any lenght of time. If it got damp or wet on occasion, probably not a problem, submerged... NO. Aside from this, it is a worthy toolbox that is a good buy. **Q: Is the bottom tall enough to hold a spray can** A: Not standing up. When the trays are in the closed position, it is no greater than 6-1/4" from the base of the Tray to the bottom of the tool box. I've been searching for some time for a good quality, metal toolbox for my husband, but the ones that I've found either don't look like they'd last a year or cost so much that they just aren't feasible. I did a lot of research before purchasing this, and was still a little apprehensive when I finally decided to order it. I was so very pleased when it arrived and just the weight of the box alone reassured me of the quality of this product. The cantilever design is perfect for my husband, since he has quick access to everything without having to dig. With plastic boxes, he would try to set the tray in the top of the box to achieve this, but no matter how many tools were it the bottom, the box would invariably tip over. Not so with this one! Great quality, very sturdy, and NO tipping! I am very pleased with my purchase and expect that it will last for quite some time to come. Do note that the box is plenty heavy on its own, and even more so when filled. It's not to the point that you can't carry it, but probably not something you'd want to have to lug around multiple times a day. If you're just moving tools from one location to another, and then will be stationary for a while, however, this box is perfect.
