The thing with these cables is that they put like a weight thing so it is always pulling down and eventually it ruins the plug. For a while we were able to fix this by hanging two hooks to the wall so that the cable was always on a straight line. Of course eventually it stopped working again. We bought this cable and it is great because there is nothing weighing it down and I can rotate the camera for all the angles and it doesn’t stop, which used to happen before. I know it’s weird to rave like this on a cable but it is such a peace of mind to be able to listen to my son if he needs me. He’s been having some tummy issues and sometimes he would throw up during the night, if it wasn’t for the monitor we wouldn’t have listened to him chocking in his vomit. Thank God we ordered this cable the day we did. Review: Perfect! - Worked great to replace the old adapter that had a bad connection. ## Features - ►Patial Reference Compatible Models - Motorola Baby Monitor MBP854 MBP854CONNECT MBP854CONNECT-2 MBP854CONNECT-3 MBP855CONNECT MBP853CONNECT MBP35S MBP36XL MBP38S-2 MBP41S MBP43S MBP50 MBP85 MBP853 MBP855 MBP867 - ►Extended Long Cord Design - Up to 6.6Ft. in Length. I bought it for a Motorola MBP854CONNECT baby monitor an it fit perfectly. **Q: What cable can I purchase to charge that’s longer?** A: Search Amazon for a USB Micro-B Male/Female Extender. It MUST be USB Micro-B Male on one end and USB Micro-B Female on the other end. Lengths vary by manufacturer. Here is a 6 ft. extender for an example. https://www.amazon.com/Micro-B-Female-Extension-Manhattan-307420/dp/B007TLEDTW **Q: I have a mbp85connect (not listed) that tajes dc5v 1500ma. would this work? i cant find any chargers with my exact model number.** A: Idk. We love them! But both have had issues with the power charging cord and the connection after a year or so. The first one we had we thought it had to do with the parent unit and never ‘fixed’ it. My parents took that monitor to use when grandkids spend the night and we told them they just had to hold the cord a certain way to get it to charge. They ordered one of these cords and it works perfectly again! So a year later, our newer monitor started having the same issue. The cord was delivered today and it works perfectly-the cord is even heavier-duty than the one the monitor came with! No more zip ties to keep the connection! --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.hr/products/75597375-for-motorola-mbp854connect-mbp854-baby-monitor-charger-power-cord-replacement](https://www.desertcart.hr/products/75597375-for-motorola-mbp854connect-mbp854-baby-monitor-charger-power-cord-replacement) --- *Product available on Desertcart Croatia* *Store origin: HR* *Last updated: 2026-10-04*
