It came in a flamesy box but it being in three bpieces made up for that. The three tree parts were labeled so we knew which ones went where and that was a huge help. There is minimal shedding from this tree after it's been moved around some and it's fairly easy to fluff. Even after being in my moms basement fo a year, the tree still looks clean and brightly colored. I had no trouble putting it together and I have received so many compliments! The branches are hinged so it is fast to assemble. I used clear lights on a white string. The branches are strong enough to hold heavy ornaments and I had a very small amount of needles fall off (which is always ALWAYS part of artificial tree use). I did have a hard time getting the pin to screw in on the stand, I think caused by a difficulty in getting the two parts to line up exactly right.
