Easy to wash and they come out of the dryer looking great. I've been wearing them for quite a while and they are holding up quite well. Lightweight fabric that I prefer. Cool and comfortable, but I wore them to work over the past winter and they are fine for limited cold weather exposure. They wash up well too. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars HAGGAR COOL 18 DON'T REALLY SUIT MY TASTE IN MEN'S PANTS *by A***N on Reviewed in the United States on September 23, 2015* I had ordered two pairs of these Haggar-Men's Cool 18 Hidden Expandable Waist Plain Front Pants, in black. One very good aspect is the quite essential hidden expandable waistband, for, without this extra stretch, these pants would almost certainly fit too tightly. It isn't that the waist is made too small, but rather its overall construction and fit is just snugger than necessary. Another positive aspect is that I've found, contrary to some other customer's reviews, both the waist and length measurements are very accurate. They are also appropriately presentable for both certain business and most leisurely wear, though its material is just a bit shiny in bright lighting. In modern times, most clothing made of polyester does not have a shine that, decades ago, had been formerly common with polyester materials. Their slight shine gives a lower quality impression, and their not so luxuriously soft, smooth texture offers less comfort. However, they are indeed as described in regard to cool for wearing in warmer weather. Some less than desirable points are the stitching is a bit sloppily sewn at the seams, and there is not as much reinforcement as I would have anticipated. Also, its button waist closure is the only means by which to close the waist, and this button certainly doesn't appear to be securely sewn in a manner that could withstand the test of time. I really don't expect the button to remain in tact if one bends or sits a lot. I am reasonably sure that the reason for their undesirable points is not due to approximately $30 per pair pricing, as I've purchased incredibly comfortable men's and women's slacks, constructed with lots of reinforcement and luxurious considerations, for nearly the same cost or less. I am, obviously, not thrilled with having purchased these pants. The good and the not so good of these pants is fairly about 50/50. Therefore, I've decided to rate these pants by removing one of five stars.
