I did put hope on this little lamp to save me big problem. so far so good ### ⭐ This isn't a 20 W zapper. Cord is to short. Go with LIBA brand *by B***T on July 9, 2019* I needed a 20W zapper. This one says 20W but it isn't. It was two 8W bulbs. The higher watts makes a difference. Also the cord was very short. I have to hang it from an over the door hook. I keep one in the kids hallway and it has to be higher so the kids can't reach it. You have to use an extension cord to plug it in. I am returning this zapper. I recommend the LIBA brand zapper. The cord is long. It can reach from hanging up on a door to the plug by the floor. Also the 20W bulbs make a big difference. They also have a 3 year warranty. Customer service is great. My Liba zapper had stopped working which is why I got a different zapper. But then I realized the 3 year warranty. I emailed and they sent me a new one for free. I am glad because I really like the Liba. And you can't beat the warranty! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Toasts the invasive Aedes Mosquito and Biting Midges *by M***E on May 17, 2020* Last year, SoCal saw increased incidence of the invasive Aedes mosquito that bites aggressively during daylight hours (mainly on the ankles). Mosquitos already naturally loved biting me but these new guys made it even worse. Even just opening your front door will let some in that will bite you later.I set this unit up in my garage so that my garage can function like an airlock of sorts. Any mosquitos that enter my garage while I leave the house will get attracted to and electrocuted by this unit. When I get home from work, I open the garage door and bring all of my luggage with me and then close the garage door. Once the garage shuts, I open the house door and bring all of my work stuff in quickly and then shut it and let this unit do its job of killing every mosquito that managed to fly in. This unit + the "airlock" procedure has dramatically reduced the amount of mosquitos in my house. Adding supplemental mosquito traps inside the house has left me relatively bite free for the last 6 months.The unit came with some replacement bulbs but I've yet to have to use them since the original bulbs are still running well after 6 months of continuous use.The grill is easy to clean and it has a catch tray at the bottom that I love checking every month to see just how many bugs this thing kills.
