Unit works.. but blue tooth distance is only 3-5 feet. Whole reason for purchase was not to have phone next to pool, and with this unit you have to.I am impressed with the battery life. I use it now next to the grill when cooking and for the 20 minutes of use during grilling. I've only fully charged it once and have used it maybe 20 times since the charge. I feel like the last one I had (which was lightahead brand) had better sound than this one but this is still great. and when my daughter drops this one, i'll still buy another one.
