It does burn/tingle a bit, but nothing unbearable and does make your lips pinkish/red. I wear it UNDER and OVER lipsticks and the plumpness lasts about 2-3 hours depending on if you are drinking during the time or not. Been using for several months, usually save it for those nights out or days I need to look nicer. I do not use it everyday, i didn't want to waste it by wearing it at work where i don't give a crap what i look like. lol. This is an HONEST review btw!!
