And no way this holds 10 hats! *by B***B on Reviewed in the United States on December 12, 2018* I purchased this because it looked like a great way to get my son's baseball hats in order ... the picture with 10 hats hanging looked perfect. The issue is ... no way that you can get 10 hats on this. The hats hang on hooks on their backs, so each hat takes up about 12-16 inches of real estate. So unless you have 12+ ft, and hang the hats from the absolute top to the absolute bottom, this won't work.It is useful for getting 5 hats out of the way.The brackets that go on the top and bottom of the door are very flimsy. Very easy to bend if you over-tighten.I may just put some command strips on the back of the door and use the hooks to hold the caps without the vertical strip. ### ⭐⭐ didn't meet our needs *by T***S on Reviewed in the United States on December 10, 2018* Bought this for the hubby. seemed like a good idea, and had decent reviews. However, the brackets were too wide for our doors. so we tried to just use command hooks and put it on the back of the closet door and it fell down. The materials are cheap, especially the clips that hold your hats. You sit on them or accidentally step on one you've crushed it. The strap the clips are applied to slip and slide up & down the strap so easily. All of this was a problem for me BUT I needed this contraption so I worked with it. I adjusted the strap to the length I needed, then proceeded to hand sew each of the hat clips into place (no more sliding!) Then at the end I hot glue gunned a strong little magnet to keep it from flying around the door (for some reason I have a metal back porch door) I did use 1 of the door hangers that was included to hang the strap on my door (a useful included component) from the sewing to the gluing this all took me about an hour. Putting it up about 5mins. My hats are organized and stay put, so it was worth the 8bux.
