Some people mentioned you could taste a slight taste of pine in it but I didn't in the jar I received. Mine tasted like flower honey and no hint of pine to it. It's a high quality, sweet, creamy honey. It's a pleasant but not an overpowering taste so went especially well with putting it in hot tea (both herbal and black tea.) It helped soothe my throat when it was sore. I even used it in coffee and it went quite well since the taste didn't conflict with the coffee. I went to Ikaria in July and toured the mountains where the hives were kept. I purchased a jar of blossom honey at the packaging facility. The jar is identical. All the honey was extracted from the wax combs in one room then transferred in the next room to pristine stainless steel tanks. There were several types of honey.
