We purchased two of these one for upstairs and one for downstairs. They Workwell for our space and they a relatively silent operation considering they sit in the room. They give off plenty of cool air. Odd adapter size *by T***Y on Reviewed in the United States on May 14, 2019* Pros:Cools as well as expected.Looks decent enough.Cons:When the AC kicks on, its pretty loud. Significantly louder than my previous portable Air Conditioner. I have to turn it off after 30 minutes because its just too loud to keep on.Adapter to fit in the window does not fit normal window sizes. I don't know who came up with this design but it makes little sense for the adapter to be as large as it is without any option for a normal sized adapter. I can make it work by cutting it, but seems like it should have come stock this way.I think if I were to choose again, I would have bought a different air conditioner.
