Review: Great pan ( ALSO make it NON STICK - tutorial on this review) - Very good pan. The quality is superb. Quite heavy compared to Indian pans. It is stainless steel but food does stick to the pan if the pan isn't seasoned before use. It comes with a lid which covers it well. No gaps at all. The steel is thick and food does taste very good once you cook in it (made vegetable curry in this and it turned out better than in my Teflon coated pan). Good for daily use on stove, electric stove and induction. Although price is a bit high, it is well worth it. How to season the pan : heat 2 - 3 tbsn of oil (should have high smoking point. Can use coconut oil, sesame, peanut, vegetable or soybean oil). Make sure you have used enough to cover the entire base. Swirl the pan to make the oil coat the sides as well. Heat the pan on medium heat for 2 - 3 minutes until you see some smoke. Off the pan and let it cool completely. Discard the oil in the pan (don't cook food with this oil) and using a paper towel /tissue wipe the pan with the oil in circular motions. The tissue will absorb the excess oil. Now the pan is ready for use and is non stick. You have do the process all over again once you want to use it again next time. Method 2: chop an onion into medium sized pieces and fry in 2 tbsn oil until its golden brown or even slightly more fried than that. Discard the fried onion and oil (careful to not dump the oil and onions while it's hot. Just dump it on a plate and once it cools, dump in in the bin). Now the pan is seasoned and ready to use. Review: Amazing pan! - This is a great pan that I use for 90% of my cooking needs. It is sturdy and looks like it will last a lifetime. That being said, it does require a little maintenance. The pan must be cleaned with a soft sponge and hot soapy water. The pan has to be dried immediately after wash otherwise water stains will develop from the dissolved salts in the tap water. The pan is meant be used over low to Medium heat. It heats evenly and is great for browning food. It resembles a All-Clad triply pan but costs a third of it. The Lid heats up while cooking. Food doesn't stick while cooking as long as you know how to use stainless steel cookware. I would suggest reading up on the topic and deglazing before buying this pan. Throw away your non-stick and aluminum cookware and shift to stainless steel and cast iron for your family's health.

Very good pan. The quality is superb. Quite heavy compared to Indian pans. It is stainless steel but food does stick to the pan if the pan isn't seasoned before use. It's a Good sturdy pan, easy clean as well. Its not non stick so definitely it would be wrong to expect that food won't stick to pan. Even it sticks it's very easy to clean. Does the job well at medium flame. Very good Curries, gravy kind of Subzi and Dals. Extremely dry to food may stick to pan. So for that non stick are better, but for everyday cooking this is best. And ofcourse it is even No Harm Cooking unlike Non-stick woks and Pan. You can consider it for sure. It may be expensive for many, but it worth buying somthing for years then to keep buying again n again low grade utensils. Even after months of use, my pan still Shines.
