**Q: Do these hold Vodka? Asking for a friend.**
A: Absolutely not. These glasses are designed for the containment of whiskey, and will explode immediately upon contact with any other liquid. Plus, vodka is a vile substance and should only be used for DIY combustion engines and cleaning wounds in a pinch.

**Q: I saw few words “ made in China “ in the bottom? Can I take it off?**
A: You can take it off...but it’s still made in china!

**Q: What is the inside diameter?**
A: The inside diameter is 3 5/16" and the outside diameter is 3 1/2" the height of the glasses from the bottom of the base to the top of the glass is 3 3/4"  ...  Hope this helps :)

**Q: Do these glasses hold a full 12oz of liquid.**
A: Yes :) They will hold a full 12oz :)

Update 2: Got the second set of glasses and they are very nice. They do have a few bubbles, but this is to be expected in hand blown glass. All bubbles are very small, and unlike the first set, most are in the thick bottom part, so will not affect the glass strength. Unless you are shining strong light directly onto the glass, bubbles are not noticeable. Glasses are very well designed, elegant, sturdy and easy to hold in the hand. They are also large enough to fit oversized ice cubes for a killer look that is sure to impress your friends when serving them a scotch or old fashioned. I am bumping the rating to five stars for the end product and the fantastic service from Mofado.Update 1: Problems slip through quality control, stuff happens, but when it does Mofado goes above and beyond to help their customers. Literally within 5 minutes Mofado had addressed the issue more than satisfactorily. Will be getting new ones. Bumped up the star rating from 2 to 4 because of the amazing customer service. If the new ones are good, will increase to 5.Original review: I had very high hopes for these glasses from reading the reviews. They were exactly what I was looking for. It appears however that the quality control has taken a nose dive. The glasses I got are of subpar quality. First, they are not the same. One barely has the "dent" on the bottom (barely a shallow dome) while the other looks more like the amazon product pictures. One glass also has a large bubble as well as a chip (looks like a burst bubble) near the rim. I bought them as a Christmas gift on amazon.com from Canada. Now I probably need to start my Christmas shopping all over again. Very disappointing.

Based on other reviews, I expected the glasses to be pretty good - and I wasn’t disappointed. In fact, I was so impressed with them that I actually ordered more!The glasses are heavy, but a good heavy - not so heavy that they feel clumsy in your hand, but heavy enough that you can tell when you pick them up that they’re pretty solid. The quality is extremely good and the edges are not thin at all like another reviewer said.One thing I really like about them is how wide they are - wide enough to easily put an ice ball into the glass with room to spare for the liquid. Other doubles I have seen are barely wide enough for the ice ball to fit.The packaging is really good too - enough to ensure the glasses arrive intact without a lot of wasted materials.Clearly a lot of thought has gone into the product from the customers perspective.

Let me open by saying this product is everything I hoped it would be. It is a substantial piece of glassware that handsomely reflects the premium price you pay to acquire it. Fill it with crystal clear hand-made ice, a high quality bourbon and all it needs is a big fat old Havana cigar to make you feel like Winston Churchill reviewing the British fleet. But therein lies the problem. The glass stands 3.875 inches tall with a 3.375 inch diameter and holds 12.5 ounces of liquid. Pour a cocktail into this ice-filled wonder and your talking about a hefty 27.5 ounce lift to quench your thirst. That’s almost one and three quarter pounds! Now you would think that this not a problem but the bottom is round and the smooth sides are straight without a crystal cut to give it purchase. Sit on the quarterdeck, let your cocktail sweat a little in the summer sun and lifting this glass is a real problem. The circumference is large enough that you feel two hands may be required to take a sip. You might even have to put down your cigar to toast the Queen. How embarrassing!
