It does its job and works very well to inject marinades. Only one reason for missing 1 star. The gasket on the outer clear tube gets stuck sometimes and does not slide down into the bottom portion where the blades are. It needs to be done slow to make sure it all goes down. If not, that is the path of least resistance and you will shoot marinade everywhere.
