Have not actually used under battle conditions but put one together and sat in it. Kind of neat how the frame just snaps into place. Can't really mess it up. I weigh in at just over 200 lbs and it held without complaint. Getting out of it can prove challenging and works best for me if my wife pulls my hands while I stand (recently had hip replacement). Shouldn't be a problem for someone of less heft. Long term durability questionable. Aluminium frame held together by elastic cords that makes it snap together; if one breaks setup will be more complicated and structural integrity may suffer. You won't be taking a long nap in this chair but may be happy you have it when you get tired along the trail. Much lighter and smaller and easy to carry than a full size tailgate chair. The first two came in perfect condition. It is light weight and easy to setup and take down. We used it when we went to Hawaii and it easily packed in our luggage and I did the same thing when we went to Mexico on a cruise. It was easily packed into my backpack with a towel for the beach; however, this product is only getting 4 out of 5 stars because of the second ordered. I ordered a set of two for my twin nephews so they can used for camping/beach. The description reads new but when the package arrived it is clearly a returned item. You can see where the old address was cut of an box was opened.
