It instantly got more expensive in a few minutes, so I pulled the trigger and bought it. I did get 2 individual sticks with the exact same specifications though. On hindsight, it would have been cheaper to go for 2 separate rams instead of this kit. Having said that, there's only a very negligible difference with C16 and C15 RAM which is only seen in High performance workloads where CPU is utilized fully. It makes no difference in gaming to me. I'm using this on an ASUS Prime B450m-A motherboard with a Ryzen 5 3600 CPU. It defaulted to 2133MHz and I only had to set the frequency to 3000MHz in the bios, which was really easy without changing any voltages. So far I have played some games and done some CPU intensive tasks, the computer seems very fast and silent. Your mobo may already support XMP profiles to utilize the stock 3000 MHz these sticks advertise, but it may require a BIOS update. I am using these on a Gigabyte z170 Gaming 7 board and had to update the BIOS to successfully apply the XMP profile to get 3000 MHz. I have the same motherboard with this memory kit. **Q: does this work with 1151 board** A: The cpu socket type doesn't determine RAM compatibility.At this time (2015-Oct-21), all of the Z170 based 1151 socket boards are DDR4 as far as I'm aware. So this RAM should work in all of those. There will be lower cost socket 1151 boards coming out that support DDR3, that this ram would not work in (if you search amazon for B150 ddr3, you should find at least one from Asrock and one from Asus; there will be more). There are also boards coming out that will have a pair of ddr3 slots and a pair of ddr4 slots. This ram would only work in the ddr4 slots on those boards and you can't use both types at the same time. **Q: will this ram able to over clock to like 2666 or 3000 ect?
